ADVANCED MANUFACTURING CONSULTANT
Permanent Position - Auckland Based

The Advanced Manufacturing team within LMAC support our clients with their Industry 4.0 journey, cutting through the noise to map out and deliver effective process, technology and organisational roadmaps. The Advanced Manufacturing team also head up our data analysis interventions, building focussed improvement teams that tackle our clients biggest challenges, using our in house data science team to drive insight, we turn this into the action that delivers on key results.
We are looking for an individual who enjoys and excels in the following:
- Active Operational Problem Solving
- Using data insights to identify focus areas
- Coaching & supporting clients teams to establish improvement objectives and plans. Using their & the clients knowledge/experience and robust problem solving frameworks
- Working with clients to map processes and information flows, ascertaining what data is required to be collected to gain valuable insights
- Being a ‘Completer/Finisher’ who tenaciously follows through with solving problems with clients. Encouraging, holding to account and celebrating with client teams regularly
- Build relationships quickly with clients to build an effective problem solving team
- Seeing successful delivery of a solution and upskilling of a client team to deliver independently in the future
- Facilitating large groups of senior and operational teams through engaging assessment and delivery sessions (Training and coaching provided on actual session content and process)
Experience in:
- Primary Industry & Manufacturing would be beneficial
- Continuous Improvement / structured Operational Excellence environments

LMAC Consulting are leading Digital Lean/Industry 4.0 roll out across New Zealand.
We are partnering with EMA and Callaghan Innovation as part of the government’s Industry 4.0 Demonstration Network to assess individual business readiness and to develop technology and digital roadmaps for these organisations. As an official TUV SUD cooperation partner, we are the first accredited SIRI assessors in Australasia.
As part of this team, we are now seeking an Enterprise Architect expert who will work alongside our Advanced Manufacturing experts and Data Science team to develop Technology and Digital Roadmaps for our clients.
Experience and Qualifications Required:
- TOGAF 9.2 Accreditation
- Extensive experience with enterprise architecture best practices and goals
- Federated Enterprise Architecture Certification required
- Knowledge of leading-edge point solutions and connectivity technologies
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in consulting in medium to large scale operations

Although we cover a broad range of industries, our current growth is within Manufacturing and Food Processing in New Zealand. We are looking for an experienced Process/Lean Manufacturing Engineer for our base in Christchurch.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Extensive Lean Manufacturing implementation experience
- Programme Leadership experience
- A degree in science/commerce or Tertiary qualifications

LEAN / TECHNOLOGY CONSULTANT

The position can be based in Auckland or Christchurch, however for the right person, other locations will be considered. While you are part of a collegial national team, you will spend most of your time in the field with your customers.
Although we cover a broad range of industries, our current growth is within Manufacturing and Food Processing in New Zealand. We are looking for an experienced Process/Lean Engineer with an aptitude for digital technology.
The successful candidate will have the following:
• Lean Manufacturing implementation experience
• Experience with some forms of process automation / Technology project
• Engineering / Science/ Technology degree
• A strong desire to learn and develop in Industry 4.0 technologies
• Project and change leadership experience
You will bring strong understanding of Lean principles together with experience of the emerging Lean Industry 4.0 concepts. You will be able to give concrete examples of where you have implemented Lean processes with outstanding results. You understand the leadership component that comes with change and are someone who has real passion and charisma in your delivery.
Your knowledge and hands on experience will give you credibility with senior executives and yet you are just as comfortable engaging the team on the floor.
